Women’s Tennis to Host Navy on Saturday

Colonials travel to James Madison on Sunday
SERVING FIRST: The George Washington women's tennis team is set for a pair of matches over the weekend. The Colonials will first host Navy at the Southeast Tennis and Learning Center (SETLC) on Saturday at 1 p.m. before making the short trip to Harrisonburg, Va., to go head-to-head with James Madison on Sunday at 2:30 p.m.
LAST TIME OUT: The Colonials are coming off of a 7-0 sweep over Revolutionary Rival George Mason on Saturday. With the victory, the Buff and Blue improved to 2-0 in conference play.
ABOUT NAVY: Navy travels to the District riding a four-match win streak. On Saturday, the Midshipmen topped Howard and Mount St. Mary's, 7-0, each.
ABOUT JAMES MADISON: The Dukes are 5-2 so far in 2020 and enter the weekend on a three-match win streak. In that span, James Madison has defeated Penn State (4-2), Georgetown (7-0) and UNCG (6-1). The Dukes will face Maryland on Saturday before hosting the Colonials on Sunday.
ON THE HORIZON: GW is set to hit the road next week, traveling south to North Carolina to face ECU on Saturday, Feb. 29 at 10 a.m., followed by a match against UNCW on Sunday, March 1 at 10 a.m.
