GW welcomes Daubendiek and Yohannes
WASHINGTON - GW volleyball head coach Sarah Bernson announced the team's initial signings in its next recruiting class on Monday, welcoming a pair of first-years to the program for the fall of 2021 in MC Daubendiek and Salem Yohannes.
"Each year, we spend a lot of time discussing and working through what our needs are regarding new additions to our program," Bernson said. "Our GW team is growing in offense and strategic play as well as owning a solid sense of identity. These two student-athletes are such strong additions to our program as they are confident, talented and competitive young women.
"Sally and MC are also examples of the draw that GW has from different areas of the country. Academically, they are the right fit for GW. These two are ready for the academic and athletic challenge and success that GW can provide for them. I am thrilled for Sally and MC to be in the Buff & Blue next year."Â
