
Women’s Tennis to Open A-10 Action on Saturday

Colonials host Duquesne at 1 p.m. at SETLC
SERVING FIRST: After opening its home slate with back-to-back victories on Tuesday, the GW women's tennis team will look to continue its momentum on Saturday as it faces Duquesne at the Southeast Tennis and Learning Center (SETLC) at 1 p.m.
LAST TIME OUT: The Colonials dominated in their matches on Tuesday, downing Morgan State and Coppin State. The squad started their day off with a 5-2 victory against Morgan State before topping Coppin State later in the day, 4-1. In both matches, Katarina Marinkovikj, Alexandra Vesikallio and Luciana Kunkel edged out their opponents in the top three singles spots. Competing for the first time in the Buff and Blue, Jiaqing Mo and Lara McNaughten also saw success, notching their first victories in their respective debuts.
ON THE HORIZON: The Colonials will face off against West Virginia on Saturday, Feb. 8 at 10:00 a.m. in Morgantown, W.Va.
