First-years Kunkel and Bodewes notch pair of singles victories

WASHINGTON – In its first Atlantic 10 test of 2020, the George Washington women's tennis team came up short, falling to Duquesne, 5-2, on Saturday afternoon at the Southeast Tennis and Learning Center (SETLC).

The first-year duo of Luciana Kunkel and Sarah Bodewes notched both of the Colonials' singles victories, winning their matches in straight sets at the #4 and #5 positions, respectively.

UP NEXT: GW will be back in action on Saturday, Feb. 8 when it travels to Morgantown, WVa. to face West Virginia at 10 a.m.
