Women’s Tennis Drops to West Virginia, 5-2

Bodewes and Vesikallio secure singles victories
MORGANTOWN, WVa. – In its second road test of 2020, the George Washington women's squash team dropped to West Virginia, 5-2, on Saturday morning.
The Mountaineers secured the early doubles point to start the day with a 1-0 edge. Alexandra Vesikallio and Sarah Bodewes were able to put the Colonials on the board with victories at No. 3 and 5, respectively, but West Virginia topped the Buff and Blue in the remaining matches to finish the day on top.
UP NEXT: GW is set to return home to the Southeast Tennis and Learning Center (SETLC) on Friday, Feb. 14 to face Delaware at 1 p.m.
