Men's Basketball Hosts Saint Joseph's on Saturday

HOME SWEET HOME:Â After a pair of road games, the GW men's basketball team returns to the Smith Center to welcome Saint Joseph's on Saturday at 4 p.m. Fans can follow live on ESPN+ and the TuneIn app.
LAST TIME OUT:Â Armel Potter led the Colonials with 15 points in a 59-54 loss to Fordham on Wednesday evening. The Rams found success from the outside, connecting on 9-of-20 from three-point territory. A Jamison Battle three cut the Rams' lead to just three with :26 remaining in the game, capping a furious 7-point rally in less than :30 seconds after the Colonials found themselves down 10 with less than a minute to go. After a Shawn Walker Jr. steal, the Colonials missed on the equalizer, and Fordham put the game away at the line. Jalen Cobb led Fordham with 22 points on 5-of-7 from the three.Â
SCOUTING SAINT JOSEPH'S: Under first-year head coach Billy Lange, the Hawks are still looking for their first Atlantic 10 win. Ryan Daly leads the Hawks in points (19.4), rebounds (7.8) and assists (4.2) per game. He is the lone Hawk averaging in double figures.
SERIES HISTORY:Â Saint Joseph's leads the all-time season series over GW, 36-28. The Colonials own a 16-14 record at home against the Hawks. Last season in Philadelphia, the Colonials took home a 70-56 victory in the A-10 opener at Hagan Arena.

TORO'S RETURN: After missing the two previous games, Arnaldo Toro finished with five rebounds and three points in six minutes off the bench Wednesday. Toro has pulled down 5+ rebounds in 10 of 13 games with his season-best of 24 boards against American.Â
