WASHINGTON - A former participant in the national championship game, rising redshirt senior Terrance Arceneaux has signed with GW men's basketball for the 2026-27 season, Head Coach Chris Caputo announced on Thursday.
"Terrance will bring great versatility on both sides of the ball to our program," Caputo said. "He has competed at the highest levels of college basketball, including in the national championship game. He brings an infectious personality and a will to win to Foggy Bottom."
Arceneaux (pronounced AR-suh-no) comes to the Revolutionaries after three years at the University of Houston and one year at NC State, accumulating 115 games of experience at the Power 4 level. This past season with the Wolfpack, he posted 3.8 ppg, 2.6 rpg and 26 steals, ranking eighth in the ACC in steal rate during conference games in 15.9 mpg.
Prior to that, he was a part of a Houston program that was a #1 seed in the NCAA Tournament all three seasons and advanced to the championship game in 2025. He enjoyed his best season with the Cougars that campaign with 6.5 points per game and 2.7 rebounds per game, while shooting 44.3% overall and 33.7% from deep in bouncing back from an injury-shortened season in 2023-24.
Arceneaux's pedigree also includes American Conference All-Freshman honors in 2022-23 and a four-star ranking and #66 player nationally by ESPN coming out of Beaumont United High School in Texas.
2026-27 Season Tickets for GW men's basketball are on sale now, starting as low as $70. The Revolutionaries are coming off back-to-back postseason appearances and the program's first postseason win in nine years at Utah Valley in the opening round of the NIT.
