Softball Announces Fall Showcase Camps

Colonials to host pair of one-day camps
WASHINGTON - George Washington softball head coach Shane Winkler has announced plans for a pair of fall showcase camps on the Mount Vernon Campus.
The Colonials are set to host comprehensive one-day camps for players in grades 7-12 on Sept. 28 and Oct. 12.
Under the direction of a staff that guided the Buff and Blue to a share of their first Atlantic 10 title last spring, the camps - which run 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. - will cover the full range of softball skills with periods devoted to offense and defense before wrapping up with game play. The cost is $150 per day.
