Colonials' 16-game slate unveiled by conference
NEWPORT NEWS, Va. - The Atlantic 10 Conference released the women's basketball pairings for the 2019-20 season on Wednesday, once again boasting a 16-game schedule.
For the second straight year, GW will take part in home-and-home series with local foe George Mason, as well as Dayton and Duquesne. The Colonials will also welcome La Salle, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Richmond and Saint Louis to the Smith Center.
The Buff & Blue face a challenging road slate with trips to defending tournament champion Fordham and defending regular season co-champion VCU, in addition to Davidson, Saint Joseph's and St. Bonaventure.
All dates and times will be released at a later date. The 2020 A-10 Women's Basketball Championship will be held at UD Arena in Dayton, Ohio, from March 6-8 with first-round games scheduled for March 3 at the higher seed.
