Gymnastics Places 14 on All-EAGL Scholastic Team

Zois picks up fourth career-honor to lead the Colonials
WASHINGTON – Fourteen George Washington gymnasts have been named to the 2019 All-East Atlantic Gymnastics League (EAGL) Scholastic Team, the league announced on Wednesday morning.
In order to be honored as an All-EAGL Scholastic Team member, a gymnast must have maintained a cumulative grade-point average of 3.0 or above. First-year gymnasts are eligible with Fall 2018 semester grades only.
Fifth-year Alex Zois earned her fourth-career recognition to lead the Colonials while seniors Yurina Harada and Julia McLaughlin along with junior Nicole Rogalski earned their third career honor.
Sophomores Hannah Cohen, Katya Karpova, Chloe Vitoff, and Anna Warhol each picked up their second career honors and were joined by first-time honorees Rachel Kaplan, Paige Apperson, Simone Banen, Deja Chambliss, Olivia Raymond, and Olivia Zona.
GW will return to action on Saturday at 4 p.m. for quad-meet action at EAGL rival NC State, where the Colonials will also clash with Arizona and Texas Woman's.
