Colonials complete perfect conference weekend
KINGSTON, RI -- In its second Atlantic 10 match in as many days, the George Washington women's tennis team dropped Rhode Island, 4-0, on Sunday afternoon to improve to 4-1 in conference play.
The Colonials started their day off on a high note, securing the doubles point with Maria Siopacha and Melis Bayraktaroglu coming out on top at #1, 6-4, and Sara Grubac and Katarina Marinkovikj downing their opponent at #2, 6-4.
In singles action, it took three straight victories from Marinkovikj at #4, Siopacha at #1, and Bayraktaroglu at #3 to secure the Buff and Blue win.
