Colonials notch third straight victory
COLLEGE PARK, Md. -- The George Washington women's tennis team downed local rival Georgetown, 5-2, on Friday morning at the College Park Tennis Center.Â

After dropping the early doubles point to the Hoyas, the Colonials battled back in singles action with five victories. Maria Siopacha provided the match-clinching win at #1 in straight sets. Sara Grubac (#2), Katarina Marinkovikj (#4), Xenia de Luna (#5), and Victoria Kogan (#6) also finished the day in the win column to give GW the 5-2 victory.Â
