"This past fall, Jaimeson really began to demonstrate the pairing of her athletic gifts with technical setting and running our team offense. The opportunity to partake in the U.S. Collegiate National Team's tryout is a great opportunity to continue her growth trajectory and represent GW in an elite setting."
Holmes, who has previously worked with USA Volleyball on multiple international tournaments, added, "I'm excited for Jaime to get a chance to showcase her abilities at the National Team tryout. It's a wonderful experience that I've had the fortune of being apart of for the last few years, and I'm excited for her to bring back her experience to the team."
Lee is coming off an outstanding junior campaign in which she served as the team's primary setter and averaged 9.53 assists/set, fourth-most in the Atlantic 10. She also tied for the team lead with 16 double-doubles and finished second on side with 268 digs (2.91/set) and 69.0 blocks (eight solo).
