Three first-years and graduate transfer set to join Colonials
WASHINGTON - GW volleyball head coach Sarah Bernson announced the additions of four members to the program on Tuesday. The class features three first-year student athletes from around the country as well as a graduate transfer who is a member of the Mexican national team.
"This group of student-athletes is a tremendous asset to our program, not only for the 2019 season, but to the foundation of GW volleyball," Bernson said. "In addition to increasing our overall height and physicality, we add skilled depth in both setting and hitting. In two seasons, we have diligently worked on developing a culture of growth mindset and teamwork, as well as recruiting student-athletes that contribute to the growth of our level of play.
"I cannot say enough about these four student-athletes, their talent, work ethic and strong personal character."
