Nelson breaks school record in 200m
LEXINGTON, Va. - GW indoor track returned to action for the first time in the spring semester at the ultra-competitive Keydet Invite on Saturday, hosted by the Virginia Military Institute.
The deep field provided quite the challenge for both the men's and women's teams with three PRs aside. For the men, Jared Nelson reset his career high in the 200m for the second time in as many events. His time of 23.66 also established a new school record in the event.
Two Colonials - Madison Yerke and Brigid Prial - finished in the top 10 of the women's 3000m with Prial slashing over 20 seconds off her previous personal best time.
