WACO - The George Washington baseball team opened its Texas road swing with a 6-3 loss at Baylor on Friday night at Baylor Ballpark.

Key Stats
- Baylor broke a 1-1 tie with a five-run bottom half of the second inning to take a 6-1 lead.
- The home team's big inning held up down the stretch as a pair of GW runs in the eighth did not threaten the final outcome.
