SETTING SAIL: After competing in Team Race regattas for the last several weeks, GW sailing shifts its attention to one of the toughest women's regattas on its schedule as it heads to the Dellenbaugh Trophy at Brown University this weekend.
The Colonials head into the event ranked sixth nationally in the latest Sailing World women's poll, which matches the highest ranking in program history. GW is also eighth in the coed poll and is one of just four programs in the current rankings with both squads in the top 10, joining Hobart & William Smith, Georgetown and College of Charleston.
DELLENBAUGH WOMEN'S TROPHY AT BROWN
One of the most competitive women's fleets of the season, the Dellenbaugh features an 18-team inter-conference field made up of most of the top teams in the nation. Seven of the top-10 ranked women's squads will be in competition, including No. 2 Charleston, No. 3 Yale, No. 4 Coast Guard and No. 5 Brown.
A Division: Miranda Bakos / Belle Strachan / Kia Olsson
B Division: Riley Legault / Alexandra Fayer / Sarah Noyes
Reserve: Aitana Mendiguren
