Sailing Geared Up for Big Weekend of Team Racing

SETTING SAIL: GW sailing is set for a busy weekend as the Colonials are headed to three Team Race regattas in what is the final weekend of competition in that discipline before the Prosser Trophy, which serves as the conference championship and national championship qualifier, in two weeks.
SZAMBECKI TEAM RACE AT OLD DOMINION
The Szambecki serves as the final Team Race league event, and GW finds itself in good position heading in. The Colonials are currently in third-place in the 12-team standings and have already locked up a top-six finish which is needed to qualify for the Prosser.

HANBURY TEAM RACE AT CHRISTOPHER NEWPORT
GW returns to the same course where it won the Woollum Team Race just two weeks ago but will be facing a stronger field this time around.
SEAHAWK TEAM RACE AT ST. MARY'S
The Colonials will test their depth by sending a third Team Race squad to St. Mary's College of Maryland with a mix of upperclassmen and underclassmen.
