Colonials predicted to finish t-3rd in preseason poll
Atlantic 10 Team Preview | Preview Video
In place of a traditional media day, the Atlantic 10 is showcasing its 14 women's basketball programs with digital features leading up to the season, which begins next week. GW's media day features sit-down interviews with head coach Jennifer Rizzotti and seniors Mei-Lyn Bautista and Kelsi Mahoney. Bautista is a member of the preseason all-defensive and second team all-conference teams, as voted by the league coaches. Part I: A Bond Born Through Adversity (Seniors Mei-Lyn Bautista and Kelsi Mahoney)

Part III: A Long Time Coming (Redshirt-sophomores Olivia Gumbs and Sarah Overcash)
GW opens its season a week from Thursday on Nov. 8, with a trip to Harrisonburg, Va. to take on JMU at 7 p.m. The Colonials then open up their home slate with a 2 p.m. tip on Sunday, Nov. 11, against Princeton.
