Bowman sets career high with 32 digs
DAVIDSON, N.C. – GW volleyball opened its four-game road swing by dropping a four-set match on Friday night at Davidson.
Davidson 3, GW 1 (12-25, 27-25, 12-25, 19-25)
Key Stats
• Davidson (9-8, 2-4) played a clean attacking game, committing just nine errors compared to 35 for GW (8-10, 2-4).
• First-year libero Bella Bowman set a new career-high with 32 digs.
• In her return to the lineup after missing the last three games, junior setter Jaimeson Lee notched 40 assists, five digs, and two kills.
• Junior Skylar Iott (13 kills) and senior Alexis Lete (11 kills) notched double-digit kills for the Colonials.

Set 1: Davidson 25, GW 12
• GW committed 12 attack errors in the opening stanza as the Wildcats ran away with the set.
Set 2: GW 27, Davidson 25
• The Colonials responded by hitting .256 in the second set and overcame an early 6-0 hole to even the match.
• With the set square at 25, Iott recorded a service ace before senior Kelsey Clark finished off the stanza with a kill.
Set 3: Davidson 25, GW 12
• GW was unable to maintain the momentum, struggling in the third set as the Wildcats notched the decisive triumph.
• Davidson's attack posted a spotless set with zero attack errors to take a 2-1 match lead.
Set 4: Davidson 25, GW 19
• Both teams hit well in the fourth with GW attacking at a .393 clip (14k-3e-28a).
• However, Davidson posted a strong .406 attack percentage and was able to hold off a late GW run to finish off the match.
