WASHINGTON - George Washington women's basketball alumna Jonquel Jones capped off an impressive second professional season by taking home a major end-of-season award when she was named the WNBA's Most Improved Player on Sunday evening.
Jones received 32 of 40 votes from a national panel of sportswriters and broadcasters after a record-setting sophomore season that included her first All-Star Game appearance and a playoff appearance for the Connecticut Sun.
