Women's Tennis to Honor Seniors on Saturday

WASHINGTON - The George Washington women's tennis team closes the regular season on Saturday with a Senior Day match against Revolutionary Rival George Mason at the GW Tennis Center on the Mount Vernon Campus.
The Colonials (10-9) return home after posting a 2-0 weekend on the road, defeating Temple, 4-3, on Saturday before downing Atlantic 10 foe Saint Joseph's on Sunday.
Sophomore Maria Siopacha was named A-10 Player of the Week after going undefeated in both singles and doubles play. Siopacha leads the Colonials with a 12-7 spring singles record, all at the top spot.
Mason (15-7) takes a six-match win streak into the weekend and will face Richmond on Friday before taking on the Colonials.
Seniors Allison Hansen and Taylor Nederlander will be honored prior to first serve with a Senior Day ceremony beginning at approximately 10:40 a.m.
