NEWPORT NEWS, Va. - George Washington softball's Jenna Cone has been named Atlantic 10 Co-Rookie of the Week, the league announced on Monday.

Jenna Cone tallied a monster week to help GW take a trio of run-rule wins during the home-opening Colonial Classic. The rookie batted .455 (5-for-11) in her three starts this weekend, crushing two home runs and a double for a 1.091 slugging percentage. Cone knocked in an impressive eight RBIs through the three games. The Trabuco Canyon, California, native added one walk for a .500 on-base percentage.

Cone started all three contests - two at third and one behind the plate - to tally three putouts and four assists without an error.

Cone leads the Colonials with five home runs already on the young season and ranks second on the squad with a .366 average.
