Levy recently caught up with GWsports.com to talk about a number of topics.
Who was your basketball idol growing up?
I'd say Kobe Bryant was my basketball idol while growing up. But now, looking at the big picture, I am currently playing for one of the best point guards ever that also played at UConn. So I would say Jen Rizzotti is one of my idols and I look up to her.
If you weren't playing college hoops, what sport would you want to try to play?
I would love to say I would try to play soccer but I think I'd trip over the ball. So I think softball would be my next choice.
What is your favorite class you have taken so far at GW?
My favorite class was over the summer and it was a criminal justice class. I found it really interesting and it is what I now want to major in.
What is your favorite thing about living in Washington, D.C.?
It is the big city! Coming from Binghamton, New York, there wasn't really a lot going on. But here in the city there a little bit of everything!
Do you have any pregame rituals or superstitions?
Before every game I listen to R&B love songs. I just think it is soothing and helps me get into a rhythym.
What is the best vacation you have ever taken?
I really haven't been on a big vacation because I've always been playing basketball. So I can't really answer that right now.
What is the first thing you do when you go home to Binghamton?
When I first go home I either get Brozzetti's Pizza or Spiedie, which is like a marinated chicken sandwich.
On a scale of 1-10, what is your cooking ability?
I give myself a five. I can cook certain things.
What is your all-time favorite movie?
Love and Basketball
What is one thing you can't live without?
I probably can't live without basketball but in all honesty, the answer is my phone.
