Five GW Men's Water Polo Players Earn Academic Accolades

WASHINGTON -- The George Washington men's water polo team placed five athletes on the 2015 Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches (ACWPC) All-Academic Team and on the Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA Men's Varsity Scholar-Athlete Team, the organizations announced.
Junior Sander Profaci, sophomores Noah McKinnie Braun and Quentin Montgomery and freshmen Connor Rosenberg and Matt Taylor all garnered superior status for achieving a cumulative grade-point average between 3.41-3.70.
Profaci was honored at the superior level for the third year in a row, while Braun was honored for the second time.
The ACWPC All-Academic Team and the CWPA Scholar-Athlete Team honor varsity student-athletes who possess a 3.2 cumulative GPA or higher. The ACWPC recognized 325 student-athletes across the nation, while the CWPA honored 141 from its member schools.
