WASHINGTON - The George Washington women's tennis squad wraps fall play over the weekend at the three-day Hokie Fall Invite at Virginia Tech's Burrows-Burleson Tennis Center. Four singles and two doubles flights will compete at the tournament. Eight schools will be represented by 54 student-athletes. GW and host Virginia Tech will be joined by James Madison, Marshall, Radford, Towson, UNC Wilmington and VCU. Freshman Melis Bayraktaroglu, sophomores Sara Grubac, Victoria Kogan and Maria Siopacha, juniors Kamilla Beisenova and Marie-Louise Decamps and seniors Allison Hansen and Taylor Nederlander will compete for the Colonials. GW's doubles pairs will be: Bayraktaroglu and Nederlander, Decamps and Kogan, and Siopacha and Hansen. Play on Friday will include both singles and doubles action. Flight champions will be crowned on Sunday. The weekend tournament will close fall play for the Colonials. |
