- Friday's victory over George Mason extended GW's win streak to 12 games and improved the Colonials' Atlantic 10 record to 7-0. It marks the second straight year that GW has won its first seven A-10 contests. It was also the Colonials' sixth straight win over the Patriots in the last four seasons.
- The #RevRivalry win earned the Colonials a point in the year-long competition between the two schools, giving GW a 6-1 advantage in the 2015-16 season.
- Junior Caira Washington, sophomore Kelli Prange and graduate student Lauren Chase combined for 55 points on 51.2 percent shooting in the win.
- Washington registered her sixth double-double and fourth 20-point game of the season, posting 20 points and 12 rebounds along with three blocks, two steals and two assists.
- Prange also posted a double-double - her first of the year - with a 17-point, 12-rebound effort on Friday afternoon.
- Chase (18p, 8a) and sophomore Brianna Cummings (10p, 5r) also reached double figures on the day, marking the sixth time this season that four or more Colonials have posted double-digit scoring.
- GW continued its dominance on the glass, outrebounding George Mason, 47-35, including 18-10 on the offensive end with seven offensive boards by Prange. The Colonials have won the battle of the boards in all 20 games this season and lead the nation with 51.5 boards per contest while ranking second nationally with a +17.0 rebounding margin.
- The Colonials outscored the Patriots in all four quarters and held their largest lead with a 15-point advantage with 9:46 remaining in the game.
- GW's defense on the perimeter held George Mason to a 1-for-10 effort from behind the arc.
- The Buff and Blue posted double-digit steals for the second consecutive game on Friday, tallying 10 swipes against George Mason. The Colonials had 11 steals against Massachusetts on Wednesday.
