- Sunday's victory was GW's 10th in a row and snapped Duquesne's 15-game win streak - the Dukes' first loss in two months. the Colonials remained perfect in A-10 play at 5-0 while winning their 13th straight game over a league foe, dating to Feb. 15, 2015.
- The win at No. 25 Duquesne was GW's second victory over a ranked squad this season, as the Colonials also downed then-No. 25/21 Iowa in double overtime on Nov. 27 at the Lone Star Showcase.
- The Colonials matched a season high with 11 blocks on Sunday, led by senior Jonquel Jones' career-high tying seven rejections. Jones sits fifth in the nation with 54 blocked shots on the season.
- Jones posted a monster double-double - her NCAA-best 15th of the season - with game highs of 24 points and 18 rebounds. Sunday was Jones' eighth performance of the year with at least 20 points, and she continues to lead the nation with 15.4 boards per game as the Colonials sit atop the country with 52.3 rebounds per contest.
- The Colonials won the battle of the boards for the 18th straight game to start the season, dominating the glass on Sunday with a 55-37 advantage at Duquesne. GW also held a 36-20 advantage on points in the paint and a 19-10 edge on the fast break.
- Junior Hannah Schaible tallied 14 points for the second consecutive game and matched her career best with 12 rebounds for her first double-double of the season and the seventh of her career. It marks the sixth time this season that two Colonials have posted a double-double in the same game.
- Entering Sunday's contest, Duquesne led the A-10 in scoring, averaging 75.4 points per game on a league-best 43.0 percent shooting. GW held the Dukes to a season-low 52 points and 30.2 percent from the floor, marking the sixth time in the last seven games GW has held its opponent below 60 points.
- Over its last seven games, GW has held opponents to 53.9 points on 31.5 percent shooting. The Colonials lead the A-10 in field goal percentage defense (.305) and 3-point percentage defense (.211) against league opponents.
- The Colonials held Duquesne's leading scorer, April Robinson, to 0-for-7 from the floor, as the point guard went scoreless in 25 minutes of play.
- GW shot a season-high 78.6 percent from the foul line, making 11-of-14 free throws. Jones led the way with a 7-for-8 effort.
