2015 IWLCA Academic Honor Roll
WASHINGTON -- Five members of the George Washington lacrosse team were recognized on the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA)/Zag Sports Academic Honor Roll, the organization announced on Monday.
Rising seniors Ellie Glasgow and Becca Taub and graduate student Jacqui Stevens, along with 2015 graduates Rachel Quinn and Jenn Seitz, were all recognized. The group matches the most IWLCA Academic Honor Roll honorees in program history, as the Colonials -- who were named an IWLCA Academic Honor Squad for the ninth year in a row last week -- also placed five student-athletes on the list last season. Quinn, Seitz and Stevens were all repeat honorees.
Glasgow and Seitz were both selected to the Atlantic 10 All-Academic Team in the spring.
To earn a spot on the IWLCA Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must be at least a junior academically and have a cumulative grade-point average of 3.50 or greater.
The IWLCA honored a record 838 student-athletes from 255 institutions across all divisions in 2015, including 256 student-athletes from 80 different schools at the Division I level.
