WASHINGTON - The George Washington softball team has canceled Sunday's home opener against Princeton due to unplayable field conditions. GW finishes the Capital Invite with a 2-0 record after a sweep of Lafayette on Friday.

The Colonials (12-8) will take a seven-game win streak into Thursday, when they host cross-town rival Howard (3-15) at 3 p.m. at the Softball Field at the Mount Vernon Campus.
