Women's Tennis' Doubles Duo Earns ITA Atlantic Region Ranking

WASHINGTON - After knocking off the first nationally ranked opponent of their careers this fall, sophomore Grace Egger and freshman Teodora Radosavljevic have secured a No. 10 doubles ranking in the Atlantic Region, the Intercollegiate Tennis Association announced.
The duo defeated the No. 55 tandem in the nation in Maryland's Nataliya Bredikhina and Welma Luus to advance to the Round of 16 at the 2014 ITA Atlantic Regional Championships in the fall. The pair went on to reach the doubles quarterfinal round, wrapping up the fall with a 4-2 record.
"The women's team is a growing program," said second-year Head Coach Greg Munoz. "I cannot wait to see what we can do over the next couple of years."
The Colonials open the 2015 season against Morgan State on Sunday, Jan. 18 at the Southeast Tennis Center in Washington, D.C.
