GW Women's Tennis to Compete in Georgetown Classic

WASHINGTON - The George Washington women's tennis team remains in the District this weekend for the annual Georgetown Classic.
The Colonials will first match up with Georgetown on Friday at 9:30 a.m. at Georgetown Visitation Prep before heading to the GW Tennis Center on the Mount Vernon Campus to host Morgan State at 3 p.m.
GW is coming off its opening weekend at the Towson Tiger Classic in which the squad topped Delaware and Mount St. Mary's, and tied UMBC and the host Tigers. Freshmen Marie-Louise Decamps and Teodora Radosavljevic and sophomore Allison Hansen all went unbeaten on the weekend in singles and doubles play. Decamps and Hansen each produced a 1-0 singles record and a 1-0 doubles mark, while Radosavljevic went 2-0 in both singles and doubles.
This weekend marks the opening of fall action for the Hoyas and the Bears.
