Lenhart Named A-10 Softball Rookie of Week

WASHINGTON, DC-- George Washington softball freshman Chelsea Lenhart has been named Atlantic 10 Rookie Performer of the Week, the Conference announced on Monday.
In four games this week, Lenhart went 6-for-15, with a double and her first collegiate triple against UMBC. As a lead off batter, she has a .400 batting average and a slugging percentage of .600.
Against Army, Lenhart stole two bases on four hits and scored a run.
Lenhart and the Colonials are on the road this week; first traveling to Hampton, VA, to take on Hampton University on Tuesday for a doubleheader starting at 12:00 pm. GW will then head to the Winthrop/ adidas Invitational March 11-13 to take on Gardner-Webb, Wright State, A-10 foe Charlotte, and host Winthrop.
