Four Colonial Gymnasts Named To EAGL All-Academic Team

WASHINGTON, DC- Junior Brittany Burnham and freshmen Brittany Doran, Sara Halliburton and Katrina Hufnagel are among 91 student-athletes named to the East Atlantic Gymnastics League (EAGL) All-Academic Team, as announced by the league today.
In order to be named to the EAGL All-Academic team, student-athletes must have a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 or higher. Freshmen are eligible if they earned a GPA of 3.0 or higher in the fall semester.
Burnham, one of the GW captains, earns All-Academic honors for the third time in her career.
All eight teams were represented on the list, with Rutgers leading the way with 20 honorees. The Scarlet Knights also paced the league in 2010 with 18 honors.
