WASHINGTON, DC- Amanda Holst was named the 2009-10 softball Most Valuable Player at The George Washington University annual Senior Honors Luncheon held on April 29.
A senior co-captain, Amanda has provided a dependable outfield glove in each of her four seasons at GW. To benefit the team, the normally right-handed batter switched to a left-handed slapper and leads the team with seven sacrifice hits this season. She has started all but two games this season and totaled 138 starts in 153 career appearances.
