Women's Tennis Defeat Towson, 7-0

WASHINGTON -- The George Washington women's tennis team broke up a three-match losing streak on Sunday when they defeated Towson, 7-0, at the Mount Vernon Tennis Center.
The Colonials started the day with a sweep in doubles action. Michele Style and Mimi Hamling paired up for the first time this season at No. 1 doubles winning 8-4. Jacqueline Corba teamed up with Jennifer Hirsh also win 8-4 at No. 2 doubles, while Sasha Gluck and Hilary Kustoff won 8-0.
Corba and Hamling extended their winning streaks in singles play to three matches as the Colonials swept the Tigers for the 7-0 win. Kustoff got her first singles win of the spring, defeating Towson's Ali Freadak, 6-1, 6-1
The Colonials wrap up the 2010 season at UMBC on Saturday April 17, at 11:00 a.m. before traveling to St. Louis for the 2010 Atlantic 10 Women's Tennis Championship on Friday, April 23.
