Softball Winter Hitting Clinic on Saturday Cancelled

WASHINGTON -- The GW softball program's Feb. 20 winter hitting clinic has been cancelled due to low enrollment, said head coach Kim Staehle.
The Colonials will open the 2010 season at the UVa Cavalier Classic on Feb. 26, with games against Lehigh, at 2 p.m., and Virginia, at 7 p.m. In day two of the tournament, GW will take on Ohio and Notre Dame for the first time in program history.
GW will open their home schedule on March 6, when they host Army, Binghamton, and Canisius for the 2010 Colonial Classic at Mount Vernon Softball Field.
