CHARLOTTE, NC - The George Washington softball team travels to face Atlantic 10 Conference opponent Charlotte on Friday, Mar. 20, at 4 p.m., and Saturday, Mar. 21, at 12:00 p.m. The match-up opens the Conference portion of their 2009 schedule.

The Colonials (7-12) go back on the road after traveling to Tampa, Florida, for the USF Under Armour Classic. GW went 2-3 in the tournament, with Kara Clauss getting both wins against Long Island and host USF in extra innings.

Third baseman Katie Terrazas leads the Colonials in batting average (.283), slugging percentage (.415), runs scored (6), hits (15), RBI (8), doubles (5) and total bases (22).
