Megan Hogan has been named Colonial of the Week for her performance in the Penn State Invitational last Friday, October 17. The redshirt junior ran a program-record time of 21:06, which was over a minute faster than the previous program record. She also fought the tough conditions of the course to shave over 30 seconds off of her personal-best time and is hitting her stride at the most important time of the season. It was good enough for 18th place among a total of 299 runners, which included five nationally-ranked teams. Hogan has improved her time in every race so far this season.
She will return to action on November 1, when the George Washington Cross Country teams head to Charlotte, NC for the Atlantic-10 Championships.
