KITTY HAWK, NC -- George Washington's Raman Luthra was the low Colonial with a two-round 146 Tuesday at the 27th ODU/Seascape Collegiate tournament. Luthra carded a six-over-par 146 (72-74) to tie for 33rd at the par-70, 6,131-yard Seascape Golf Links. The Colonials finished in a tie for 14th in the 18-team field. GW tied for second in the same event last year.
Campbell University won the tournament by four strokes over runner-up East Carolina. Campbell's Kyle Spahr was the medalist with a six-under 134 that included a first-round 66.
GW's Lewis Sturdy was the second-lowest Colonial after firing a 147 (73-74), one stoke behind Luthra, which put him in a tie for 39th place.
The ODU tournament closed out the Fall portion of the 2006-07 schedule. The Colonials resume play in March when they host the 36-hole GW Invitational on Mar. 24-25 at Bethany Beach, DE.
