Women's Lacrosse Adds Burr and Cratty

WASHINGTON, DC - WASHINGTON, DC - George Washington women's lacrosse head coach Chrissy Lombard announced on June 21 that Alaska Burr and Meghan Cratty have signed National Letters of Intent (NLIs) to attend GW and compete in women's lacrosse beginning in 2006.
Burr, from Marion, MA competed at Tabor Academy and won the team's 1983 Award, presented for dedication and hard work in lacrosse following her senior season. She was also captain of Tabor's varsity soccer and squash teams.
Cratty, an attacker from Wilton, CT, attended Wilton High School. She guided the Warriors to the Fairfield County Championship as a senior was named the Fairfield County Interscholastic Athletic Conference (FCIAC) Most Valuable Player. Cratty earned second-team all-state accolades as a junior and earned all-american honors her senior year. She ranks second in career points at Wilton with 311 and owns the career and single-season school records for assists with 143 and 64, respectively.
The duo completes GW's 2006 recruiting class.
