Women's Basketball Team to Hold Year-End Banquet

WASHINGTON, DC - The George Washington University women's basketball team will hold its end of the year banquet on Thursday, April 28 at the Charles E. Smith Athletics Center. The cost is $50 per person and fans are encouraged to make their reservations by Tuesday, April 26.

A social hour will begin at 6:00 p.m. in the Smith Center lobby and it will be followed by dinner at 7:00 p.m. in the AD's Club room. The dinner will feature remarks by GW head coach Joe McKeown and an awards presentation.
The Colonials finished the 2004-05 campaign with a 23-9 overall record, the 14th time since 1991 they have posted at least 20 wins. GW also made its 12th NCAA Tournament appearance and was co-champions of the A-10 West Division.
