WASHINGTON, DC - Freshman attack Heidi Mayer (Havertown, PA/Haverford HS) helped George Washington to a 1-1 record on the week with seven goals on nine shots to earn her second Atlantic 10 Conference Rookie of the Week award.

In a 15-8 win over Howard on April 10, Mayer scored three goals on three shots. At Lehigh on April 13. Mayer scored four of the Colonials six goals in an 11-6 loss. On the year, Mayer leads the team with 30 points on 23 goals and seven assists.
