Men's Basketball Falls To Dayton

WASHINGTON (AP) - Brooks Hall and Nate Green each scored 18 points to lead Dayton to an 89-59 drubbing over George Washington in an Atlantic 10 matchup on Thursday.
Chris Monroe led the Colonials with 21 points.
Dayton was in control 40-to-22 at the half and was never seriously threatened by George Washington.
Dayton (17-7, 9-4) led by as much as 37 in the second half and won their its third straight. The win keeps the Flyers tied with Richmond for second place in the Atlantic 10 West.
George Washington suffered its worst loss of the season, having had a ten-game losing streak. It is the team's longest losing streak since the 1988-89 season, when it finished 1-27.
