Women's Basketball Crushes Temple 74-59

In the title game, the Colonials will meet No. 12 Xavier, the reigning conference champion, which gained an 80-71 win over Dayton in the other semifinal game.
Elena Vishniakova had 13 points, Petra Dubovcova added 11 points and 10 rebounds and Lindsey Davidson had 11 points for George Washington (22-8), which has won six in a row and is making its seventh appearance in the conference championship since 1992.
Stacey Smalls had 15 points, Athena Christoforakis had 14 points and 14 rebounds and Natalia Isaac added 10 points for the Owls (19-10), who advanced further in the conference tournament than in any year since 1989, when they played in the title game.
Leading 38-32 with 15:06 remaining, the Colonials scored nine straight, capped by a jumper by Vishniakova. The George Washington advantage reached 21 points.
The Owls struggled from the field, making just 22-of-64 (34 percent), and were outrebounded 44-32.
