Volleyball Toped By Temple, 3-1

WASHINGTON, DC (Nov. 13) - Sophomore Ruth Lazzari (Seal Beach, CA) led the Colonials with 15 kills and 14 digs as they lost their season finale in an exciting match against the Temple Owls in four close games (16-30, 21-30, 30-21, 23-30).
GW finishes the season 6-18 overall 5-11 in the Atlantic 10 conference. Temple was led by sophomore Yamit Haba who recorded 18 kills and 11 digs in the match.
GW senior Shannon Farley (Hopewell Junction, NY) was honored in a pre-match ceremony in front of a raucous crowd that wished her well in her final match as a Colonial.
