WASHINGTON, DC (Oct. 5) - The Colonials lost a tough conference match today at Mt. Vernon Athletic Complex to the Xavier Musketeers in sudden-death overtime.

The Colonials struck first in the 13th minute when sophomore forward Kim Warner (North York, Ontario/St. Joseph's) exploded through the Musketeer defense to put home a shot from the left wing.
Xavier would strike back quickly, scoring 18 seconds later when freshman Lauren Giesting would score her first of three goals on the day, putting a bobbled ball past the keeper.
