GREENVILLE, NC (Oct. 23) - For the fifth straight tournament, GW's Thomas Blankvoort (Curacao, Netherlands) was the low Colonial with a four-under-par 212 (73-69-70) to finish 10th in the 54-hole Pirate Fall Intercollegiate, Monday and Tuesday. The Colonials combined for a 915 (309-298-308) at the par-72, 7,033-yard Bradford Creek Golf Club in Greenville, NC. Eastern Kentucky won the tournament with a team total of 837 followed by host East Carolina with 844.
Junior Michael Ball (Potomac, MD) was the second-lowest Colonial and tied for 50th with a three-round total 224 (77-72-75). Senior Bryan Derdenger (Scottsdale, AZ) and freshman Ryan Mello (Warwick, Bermuda) tied for 74th among 81 individuals.
Eastern Kentucky's Brad Morris won the tournament with a 13-under-par 203 (67-69-67).
