The Retrievers were led by Kara Welniak's 10 kills and 11 digs each from Jennifer Thomas and Joanne Marshall. Former Colonial Muge Pars added eight kills in 29 swings.
GW (5-0) faces it stiffest test of the season when it travels to Berkeley, CA, for the Golden Bear Classic at the University of California Sept. 8-9. GW will put its perfect 15-0 games record on the line against No. 9 Florida in the opening match Friday and will face either McNeese State or California in the second round Saturday.
