Golf Struggles at ODU/Seascape Tournament

KITTY HAWK, NC (Oct. 31) - GW's Thomas Blankvoort shot a two-day
158 (79-79) as the low Colonial in the ODU/Seascape Collegiate Golf
Tournament, Sunday and Monday at the par-72, 6,115-yard Seascape Golf
Course in Kitty Hawk, NC. Blankvoort placed in a secven-way tie for
72nd place among 101 individuals. As a team, GW placed last in the
20-team field. Virginia Tech won the event with a combined 577, 10
strokes ahead of Furman (587). GW shot a combined 652 for the
tournament hosted by Old Dominion University.
